How Much Photoshop Is TOO Much Photoshop?

The National Press Photographers Association features a story on a Danish photojournalist who was disqualified from his country’s version of a picture-of-the-year contest for manipulating an image.

it is a lot of photoshop, but he hasn’t altered the scene, or manipulated the actual image. lots of contrast boosting, levels, curves, etc… but he didn’t compromise the actual integrity of the image or anything. its no Brian Walski “oops” though.

im confused on witch one is the accual photo…is it the bottom one? and the top one photoshoped? or vica verca?

RAW format HAS to be photoshopped. How MUCH you do in the camera RAW dialogue is another discussion, but photoshopping is essential. Learn about RAW, plz.
